Flowers: Bowl-shaped, many flowers in loose panicles, light carmine, flowers in late summer from August to beginning of September.
Fruits: Attractive, cotton-ball shape, white, long-lasting.
Demands: No direct sunlight to lightly shady, semi-shade also possible but not as many flowers then; likes warmth but also cool areas, mostly frost hardy, cover with coarse chaff in the first winter after planting.
