Size: Tufts of leaves 30-50 cm high, 50-60 cm wide, peduncles up to 60 cm high; number/m²: 9-12.
Flowers: Tiny bells, white with red shimmer in pinnate, fragrant flower panicles; June to August, second blossoms in September.
Leaves: Roundish cordate, broadly lobed, like ivy; splendid black-crimson with metallic shine, colour varies from chocolate-brown to bronze-red.
Demands: Sun only with high humidity and moist soil, otherwise light shade to semi-shade, likes cool areas, leaves lose colour in hot areas, usually frost hardy.
